router inside pc – cant get it to work!?!?
My router is included internally in the pc, hp pavilian slimline, there is an antenna in the back.
I have cable internet which is what I’m using now.
I’m trying to create a wireless network..when I set up a ‘wireless router or access point’ it says I do not have the hardware. When I create a ‘wireless ad hoc’ I can see the wireless network, but my iphone will not connect to it (for now the only thing that will be using the network)
You don’t actually have a router, you have a wireless adapter. You’re not going to set up a wireless network that way.
It’s possible to set up internet connection sharing… use the help function.
However, I think your best bet is to get a wireless router.
