Iphone Quad Band

The i68++ is the latest i68 version in the Sciphone series. Nearly the same as the already introduced Sciphone i68+, but by lucky chance, normal upgrades in production and technology, is able to be sold for a lower price. The i68++ phone, like the hiphone and some others you may have heard of, are Chinese “Shanzhai” (clone) phones that try to showoff the already famous look of more internationally known cell phones and then change things (for example a downgrade in selling price mostly due to less expensive components, not to mention having interesting new specs or features not seen originally).

This particular model is not a bad phone at all, being made with unlocked – quad band support, with a colorful icon driven touchscreen control, a quite sharp screen resolution, soso multimedia options, the option to surf the net using WAP, right out of the box ready for java programs, as well as quite easy ability to pair with Bluetooth headsets for driving purposes.

Contrary to the good points however, the bad unfortunately include; its digital camera/ video camera mix that have the distinction of having very low res pics as well as not many ways to improve the pictures with options, the UI can be a bit hard to get used to, it comes with no physical keyboard, and it doesn’t browse the internet at 3G (let alone EDGE) connection speed or with wi-fi.

All in all, this is a ok purchase for a phone from China, but at US$73.79 (included with shipping), it could be taken not bad alternative than the famous, but expensive, phones with a lot of the same features.

Gregory Mulford lives and works in Shenzhen China, and is the Marketing director for Quad-Band-Phones.
