Elites are said to become the new “standard” Xbox 360s and will probably drop in price to $299 once all the Pros have been sold.
As for the chipset, Jasper is currently the best one. The best chips for 360 and PS3 right now are 65nm. PS3s are said to get 45nm chips later this year, so I guess 360s will get those too eventually and those will be better than Jasper.
The lower the nm(nanometer or something like that) rating, the lower the amount of energy the chip requires to operate, which means less overheating.
